| Club retailers and Steiff Club regularly organise delightful events for members. People with a common interest come together, new members as well as experts, and share their hobby and friends. At these special occasions, you will also have opportunities to meet and acquire bears especially for club events.As presented in the Steiff Club Magazine, join us for the UK's best Steiff Event. Set in the County Town of Somerset at the local Theatre. Elaine will greet you with a steiff gift. Steiff will then give talk around a themed History of Steiff, whether its 125 years of the Teddy Bear or how winnie the pooh was created, it changes every year. You will also be able see the latest autumn/christmas ranges. After the talk join us and share your stories over a fantastic buffet, and have your chance to win some of the fantastic prizes we will be giving away (last year over £1000 worth of prizes were given out! We also had a special silent auction for a Steiff bear numbered "1", a very special piece indeed.) You will then be invited back to World of Bears for a toast and some extra special treats. With well over one hundred people attending in 2007, the 2008 event is already being planned as being bigger and better. |
