"This year 2008 is the 35th Anniversary of Countrylife New Zealand, founded by me in 1973.

After long consideration and much soul searching, Bryan and I have decided to discontinue manufacturing Robin Rive bears. This is with much regret especially as many of you have been customers for many years. As some of you know, Bryan had a serious operation recently so this has lent some urgency to our decision. Brigitte and Gareth will be continuing with the gollies under their own brand, ‘Brigitte Rive’. We wish to thank you for many years of wonderful support and to hope that 2008 will bring you good health and happiness."

In february 2008 we will be launching the latest Gollies, all bears on our website are subject to availability as they cannot be re-ordered.
