Knut the Polar Bear
Knut was born on the 5th December 2006 and was the first polar bear born in Berlin Zoo in over 30 years. He was abandoned by his mother Tosca, a retired east German circus bear, and left to die. Rescued by zookeepers, Knut has thrived and has entranced the world.. That is with the exception of some animal rights activists who believed that nature should have been left to take its course! Well of course my passion is bears, so I couldnt resist a visit to Berlin Zoo to see this cuddable polar bear! I hope you enjoy the selection of videos and pictures we have loaded onto this site.
